HATE-LESS

Harnessing Awareness to End Hate Speech and Disinformation for a More Diverse Youth Using Media Literacy and Technology (2024-1-DE04-KA220-YOU-000244181)

The HATE-LESS project addresses the growing challenges of hate speech, disinformation, and racism in the digital sphere by equipping youth workers and young people with the tools to critically analyse and counter harmful narratives. By fostering media and digital literacy, the initiative empowers participants to deconstruct fake news and promote alternative, inclusive perspectives on migration and diversity. Through participatory approaches, including storytelling and video production, young people become active agents of change, amplifying counter-narratives that challenge prejudice and promote intercultural dialogue.

The project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, coordinated by Y4M (Germany), and implemented in partnership with organisations from Estonia, France, Spain, Luxembourg, and Cyprus.
